I was like 13 years old when this fight came out and I was a big Larry Holmes fan. His ring expertise was far superior than his opponents. Not only did he have a great jab and straight right hand, he also had a great chin. The fight against Holmes was a cash-grab fight (like Ali against Holmes). It's too bad he didn't fight a prime Frazier, Ali, Norton, and Foreman. I think he would've taken Frazier and Foreman with just his jab.

Even if the ref stopped the fight early, there's no doubt Snipes was in huge trouble. Eventually, the ref would've stopped the fight. Holmes' punches were direct and crisp. Even after Holmes' knockdown, he dominated after he got up. To Snipes' credit, he was unpredictable when throwing punches.
